Job Summary
Repair customer screens by measuring frames, cutting glass, rolling spline, and replacing damaged corners while managing raw material inventory. Drive delivery vehicles and communicate effectively with store employees, customers, and the Screen Department Coordinator regarding satisfaction issues. Follow safety measures and maintain a clean worksite. Requires high school diploma, ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, and working a flexible schedule. Compensation is $16.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be willing to acquire product knowledge and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual(s)
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to understand and respond to verbal instructions and questions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
