Job Summary
Assist in implementing curricula activities and encourage participation by the children. Actively engage in activities inside and outside. Maintain cleanliness and order of the classroom and materials. Communicate effectively with children and parents; model good hygiene; follow Stepping Stones policies and DHS regulations. Develop positive relationships with children and families; support developmentally appropriate activities under supervision. Requires High School Diploma, 2 years of experience with children, willingness to pursue CDA/SAC, CPR/First Aid certification, and background/health checks. Full-time, 2:00pm-6:00pm M-F in Gibsonia, PA with a signing bonus after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years (2,500 hours) of professional experience working/volunteering with children
- Willingness to complete a CDA, SAC or credit equivalent course work
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Must pass full background check, drug screening test and health screening
