Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer store and merchandise questions, and recommend products based on guest needs. Check out and bag purchases, help guests try on or fit merchandise, and prepare items for alterations. Manage visual merchandise by ensuring sales floors are consistently sized and new freight is appropriately displayed. Open and close cash registers, balance drawers, and follow loss prevention guidelines including bag and purse checks. Maintain a clean, organized store and communicate policy violations or guest concerns to management. Achieve personal sales goals and build guest relationships to develop client-based business.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 30lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and jump; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- Ability to sit (occasionally)
