Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer store and merchandise questions, and recommend products based on guest needs. Check out and bag purchases, prepare merchandise for alterations, and handle special orders or calls to other stores. Maintain and display merchandise to maximize sales, ensure the sales floor is consistently sized, and keep the store clean and organized. Open and close cash registers, balance drawers, and follow loss prevention guidelines including bag and purse checks. Communicate policy violations and guest concerns to management while maintaining a positive floor culture. Work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 30lbs throughout the store and backroom
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and jump; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- Ability to sit (occasionally)
