Job Summary
Greet and assist guests in selecting and purchasing merchandise while resolving issues effectively. Enter guest and sales data into the POS system accurately, obtaining proper signatures, and present jewelry from stock or cases for replacement. Repair, polish, or solder jewelry if over 18, and utilize the GUESTS program during sales floor or phone interactions. Box and wrap sales for gift presentation and provide knowledgeable product information using in-store tools. Achieve established individual key performance metrics and assist store management in meeting overall store presentation standards. Perform daily housekeeping and maintenance duties while attending all required meetings. Multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate effective guest service skills and resolves guest issues effectively
- Enter guest data and other sales data for guests into POS (sales, returns, special orders, engraving, repairs) completely and accurately and obtain proper signatures on guest sales
- Present jewelry from stock/cases to guest and replace items in correct areas when sale is completed
- Repair, polish or solder jewelry (if over 18)
- Utilizes GUESTS program when interacting with guests on sales floor or phone and when handling guest owned jewelry
- Provide knowledgeable service to guests on product information utilizing in-store tools/training
- Box and wrap sales for gift presentation
- Achieve established individual Key performance metrics
- Assist Store Management in achieving store Key Performance Indicator Metrics
- Assist Store Management in meeting company standards in overall store presentation
- Assist with daily housekeeping and maintenance duties
- Attend all required meetings
