Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's in Plainville, MA, you welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met. You may work in one of several departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services). You may process orders and deliveries, replenish stock, and cross-train in other areas to deliver the best customer service. The role offers a part-time schedule with benefits eligibility and opportunities for growth; the pay range is $16.50–$17.20 per hour with benefits including health insurance options, tuition assistance, a 401(k) with company match, associate discounts, and other programs. The minimum qualifications include basic computer and retail tech experience, basic literacy and arithmetic, and ability to lift 25 lbs; bilingual and trade-certifications in relevant departments are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
