Job Summary
Part-time Sales Associate at Five Below responsible for greeting and assisting customers, understanding needs, sharing product knowledge, suggesting additional items, promoting store events and promotions, resolving customer concerns, and communicating needs to management. Duties include operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, keeping the floor organized, and ensuring seamless checkout experiences. Requires the ability to move and lift merchandise, frequent in-store movement, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Must be 16+ and able to learn on-the-job procedures; comfortable with technology and customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
- Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on- the-job training
