Job Summary
Conduct daily sales floor operations including restocking merchandise, maintaining visual displays, and ensuring store cleanliness and safety. Respond to customer inquiries with product recommendations and process all cash register transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately. Manage inventory flow by receiving and replenishing stock while operating Point of Sale systems. Work a flexible retail schedule in an active environment requiring physical movement and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate clearly with others
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts
- Ability to constantly move about
- Ability to adjust/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use specialized equipment
- Ability to work in an active environment that can be physical or strenuous
- Exposure to dust and noise
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
- Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools
