Job Summary
Part-time sales associate responsible for demonstrating and explaining products to persuade customers, identifying interested customers, delivering promotions, and meeting personal sales targets. Responsibilities include up-selling/cross-selling, processing sales via POS, stock checks, replenishing shelves, maintaining visual merchandising, housekeeping, customer/vendor service, handling customer feedback, and achieving professional image as a brand ambassador through excellent service and adherence to store operations, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin a plus).
Required Qualifications
- Educated to SPM level
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin would be a plus
- Basic knowledge of retail operating environment
- Retail management and store operation
- Footwear Industry
- Basic visual merchandising
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite – Words, Excel
- Basic knowledge in operating point-of-sale system / cashiering system
- Basic product awareness
- Ability to engage general consumers
- Good communication skills
- Ability to escalate issues, where necessary
- Self-disciplined
