Job Summary
Part-time Sales Associate at AEON Bandaraya Melaka responsible for demonstrating products, identifying interested customers, providing product information and promotions, delivering sell-through to meet personal sales targets, up-selling/cross-selling, processing sales via the POS, replenishing shelves and maintaining visual merchandising, ensuring housekeeping and security, handling customer feedback, and delivering excellent customer service while representing the brand. Requires basic retail knowledge, strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin a plus), and ability to operate the POS system and MS Office; footwear industry experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Educated to SPM level
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin would be a plus
- Basic knowledge of retail operating environment
- Retail management and store operation
- Footwear Industry
- Basic visual merchandising
- Housekeeping
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel
- Basic knowledge in operating point-of-sale system / cashiering system
- Basic product awareness
- Ability to engage general consumers
- Good communication skills
- Ability to escalate issues, where necessary
- Self-disciplined
