Job Summary
Prepare daily salads, vegetables, dressings, and other cold menu items for lunch service at The Spence School's Middle/Upper School campus. Support the Salad Station Lead and cold-side team to replenish salad bars and cold offerings throughout service while maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Complete tasks accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, assisting with deep-cleaning projects as needed. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p. m. with a salary of $21–23/hour.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional prep or salad experience
- Strong knife skills
- Experience preparing vegetables, salads, and cold menu items
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, including HACCP and ServSafe standards
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Collaborative, flexible, dependable, and able to maintain a positive, professional work environment
- Friendly, professional demeanor and commitment to excellent customer service
