Job Summary
Provide table service as a Food Runner at Soho House Malibu, supporting servers and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dining experiences. Responsibilities include following Steps of Service, refilling water and coffee, clearing dishes, replenishing supplies, expediting food orders, accommodating guest requests, ensuring timely plating and coursing of meals, upholding health and safety standards, and collaborating with the team to assist the Executive Chef and General Manager. Must demonstrate hospitality, customer-focused service, problem-solving under pressure, knowledge of the menu, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Prior experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments and proficiency with POS systems and kitchen expo support are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously
- Tips certified and POS knowledge
