Job Summary
Part-time route driver responsibilities include delivering and picking up freight from customers and shippers, inspecting the vehicle for mechanical issues, loading the truck efficiently, and maintaining professional appearance. Requires operating a manual transmission or willingness to learn, good customer service, ability to work independently, and meeting the DOT physical and background check requirements. Schedule is 2-3 days per week, with 8-10 hour shifts starting around 7:30 AM, in St. Cloud, MN.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- DOT physical requirement
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Criminal background check may be required
- Experience operating a vehicle with manual transmission (or willingness to learn)
