Job Summary
Part Time RN - Pediatric Endocrinology: Owns Phone Triage and vaccine administration responsibilities, oversees patient education, assists physicians and staff with daily coordination of patient care, serves as liaison among patients, staff, and physicians, maintains efficient patient flow, delivers direct patient care within licensure scope, collects and labels lab specimens, prioritizes care per physician orders, ensures proper preparation for visits, documents in EHR/PMS, administers injections, conducts telephone triage per protocols, schedules appointments, adheres to universal safety precautions, updates medication lists in EHR, and facilitates transitions of care to UCC/Hospital. Requires Associates degree (Bachelor’s preferred), NY RN license and BLS, CT licensure within 3 months, multi-state RN licensure, 1-4 years of experience preferred; travel to satellite offices as needed. Salary range: $40.38-$50.48 hourly (annualized to $83,990 - $104,998).
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree required
- New York State Nursing License and BLS certification required
- Must obtain Connecticut state licensure as an RN within 3 months of hire
- Must maintain multi-state licensure as an RN
- 1 - 4 years experience preferred
