Part Time Retail Security Officer

Patrol assigned areas or maintain a fixed post to monitor activity, control access points, and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents while monitoring CCTV cameras and security systems. Identify and report suspicious activity, complete daily activity logs, and inspect property for safety risks such as fire hazards. Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally while maintaining a visible, approachable presence. Follow all post orders, company policies, and safety procedures to support loss prevention and recommend safety improvements. Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols and stay alert in a fast-paced environment.
