Job Summary
Patrol assigned areas or maintain a fixed post to monitor activity, control access points, and manage pedestrian/vehicle traffic. Identify and report suspicious activity, respond to alarms and emergencies, and monitor CCTV cameras while completing daily activity logs and incident reports. Follow all post orders, inspect property for safety risks, and greet customers in a professional manner. Maintain situational awareness and adhere to emergency protocols. This part-time role at Staten Island Mall supports a safe environment for customers, employees, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stay alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- State Guard license is required
