Job Summary
Conduct assigned area patrols or maintain fixed posts to monitor activity and control access points. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and on-site incidents while identifying and reporting suspicious activity. Monitor CCTV cameras, complete daily activity logs, and inspect property for safety risks such as fire hazards. Greet and assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally while maintaining a visible, approachable presence. Maintain knowledge of emergency response protocols and follow all post orders and safety procedures. Arrive on time in full uniform, ready to work in a fast-paced retail environment at Staten Island Mall.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stay alert and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- State Guard license is required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior security or customer-facing experience
