Job Summary
Part-Time Retail Sales Associate at The UPS Store #701 delivers world-class customer service to walk-in and telephone customers, processes shipping, packing, printing, and mail services, operates copiers, fax machines, binding and laminating equipment, and point-of-sale devices; advises customers on products/services and best-value options; learns all offerings and industry trends; maintains a clean, organized, safe store environment; and performs other duties as assigned. Requires strong customer-service mindset, excellent communication and computer skills, ability to cross-sell/up-sell, familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites, and physical ability to lift 40+ pounds. Schedules include 30-35 hours per week across 5 days, including some weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Retail/customer service experience
- Good communication and people skills
- Able to cross-sell and up-sell products and services
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Outstanding phone skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
- Able to lift 40+ pounds
