Job Summary
Retail Associate expected to deliver exceptional in-store experiences through responsive customer service, product recommendations, and efficient checkout. Responsibilities include assisting customers with product features and availability, demonstrating merchandise, maintaining visual merchandising standards, stock retrieval and replenishment, processing sales, returns, and exchanges, and supporting loyalty programs. The role emphasizes teamwork, operating POS systems, handling inventory tasks, and contributing to store profitability while upholding Columbia Sportswear Company’s values and policies. Requires ability to move items up to 40 lbs, a flexible retail schedule, and being 16 years of age or older.
Required Qualifications
- No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred)
- 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization
- Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems, and various other retail software tools
- 16 years of age or older
