Job Summary
Provide direct service and supervise daily living skills of residents within a group home for persons with long-term mental illness. Responsibilities include supervising residents, delivering intensive education/training in basic living and social skills (e.g., budgeting, shopping, distinguishing needs vs. wants), coordinating medical, dental and psychiatric services, supervising medication compliance, maintaining billing forms and client records per Thrive standards and regulations, delivering crisis intervention, transporting clients, and upholding Thrive’s guiding principles. Must operate in a 2nd shift role (Fridays and Saturdays) in West Warwick, RI; requires a valid driver’s license and adherence to professional ethics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in the Human Service field preferred
- Valid driver's license required or ability to obtain necessary transportation to perform responsibilities
