Job Summary
Part-Time Residential Security Officer in Wilmette. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, maintaining clear logs at the front desk, controlling access for tenants/visitors/vendors, patrolling and monitoring security cameras, responding to incidents and emergencies, and performing additional duties as assigned. Preferred qualifications include bilingual abilities and availability during evenings, overnights, and weekends. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
- Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
