Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and medication prescriptions for clients aged 14 and up via telemedicine. Create collaborative care plans for diverse populations managing conditions like depression, anxiety, and ADHD while adhering to clinical practice guidelines. Complete appropriate paperwork and assessment tools, consult with regional clinic directors on clients and services, and participate in in-house training on ADHD treatment standards. This part-time role requires 15-20 weekly hours with flexible scheduling from 7 am–10 pm, 7 days/week, and includes no required on-call.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certification
- Master's in Nursing
- Active prescriptive authority in the state
- Licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing
- Three years of experience
- One year of psychiatry practice
- Willingness to treat 14 years old and up
- Ability to prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
- Ability to make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity
- Ability to create and collaborate with clients on care plans
- Ability to complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
- Ability to adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Ability to consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
- Part-time availability of 15 - 20 hours per week
- Willingness to complete an in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach
- Willingness to accept and treat ADHD clients
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire
- No employment visa sponsorship eligibility
