Job Summary
Provide psychiatric assessments and ongoing telemedicine evaluations for clients (ages 14+ with a focus on adults/adolescents) as a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Louisiana. Prescribe medications as needed within clinical guidelines, collaborate on care plans, adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines, and participate in ADHD treatment standards. The role is fully remote with 15-20 hours per week, offering a fee-for-service (W2) arrangement and flexible scheduling (7 am–10 pm, 7 days/week). Requires board-certified PMHNP, Master's in Nursing with prescriptive authority, and state licensure; AMD EMR experience is a plus. Will consult with regional clinic directors and support ADHD treatment initiatives while treating diverse populations from adolescence upward.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state
- Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners need to be licensed and live in the state in which they will be practicing
