Job Summary

Greet clients, process transactions, and open new consumer and business accounts while providing counsel on deposit and loan products. Proactively educate customers on digital self-service technologies and recommend solutions based on their unique financial goals. Maintain a working knowledge of retail banking products and foster relationships through consistent follow-up and proactive outreach. Complete service requests, submit credit applications, and collaborate with branch team members to ensure operational excellence. Requires NMLS registration, a high school diploma, and four to five years of retail banking experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies

  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
  • Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
  • Ability to explore and identify a customer's true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
  • Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs both reactively and proactively
  • Experience in the financial services industry
