Job Summary
Part-time Respiratory Therapist III at Cobb Hospital on weekend nights. Responsibilities include medication administration, ventilator management, arterial blood gas analysis, aerosolized therapy, airway management, and education of patients, families, and staff. Requires collaboration with health‐care teams, adherence to safety and quality initiatives, and participation in staff development. Minimum education includes an accredited respiratory therapy program with science coursework; licensure and certifications (RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP) are required; 0–2 years of clinical experience with critical care exposure preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (CoARC or CAAHP) with minimally 20 quarter hours of science
- Associate‘s Degree A.S. degree required
