Job Summary
Administer aerosolized medication, manage ventilators, and perform arterial blood gas sampling while evaluating and treating complex, multiple problem-patient situations in critical care areas. Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan care, verify orders, and conduct patient, family, and staff education. Mentor new employees, students, and peers while promoting evidence-based practice and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain high standards of patient safety and accurate electronic charting. Requires 0-2 years of clinical experience with a minimum of 6 months in critical care, an Associate's degree, and extensive certifications including ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS. Night shift at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program (CoARC or CAAHP) with minimally 20 quarter hours of science

- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
- Ability to communicate well
