Job Summary
Part-Time Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Avonldale Estates, GA. Responsibilities include medication administration and implementing respiratory care in complex patient situations, ventilator management including weaning and waveform interpretation, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, education of patients, families, students, and staff, collaboration with the healthcare team, and participation in quality and safety initiatives. Requires 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care, NBRC-RRT, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials, and strong communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills. Required Qualifications
- Required Minimum Education: Bachelors Respiratory Therapy or Associates Respiratory Therapy-Preferred
- Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT, RCP
- Required Minimum Experience: 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
- Required Minimum Skills: Ability to communicate well, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills
