Part-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist II NP - NICU required @ Cobb Hospital

Part-Time Respiratory Therapist II in NICU at Cobb Hospital. Responsibilities include medication administration and respiratory care delivery in the NICU with ventilator management, weaning, and airway management (intubation, extubation, tracheostomy care). Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, supervise and educate staff and students, and collaborate with the health-care team to plan and deliver patient care. Provides patient and family education, maintains patient safety and accuracy of electronic orders, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Required licenses/certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (or approved equivalents) and NBRC-RRT, with minimum 0-2 years clinical experience and at least 6 months in critical care. Education required: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor’s preferred).
