Job Summary
Part-Time Respiratory Therapist II in NICU at Cobb Hospital. Responsibilities include ventilator management, aerosolized medication administration, arterial blood gas sampling/analysis, and weaning within critical care, plus patient and family education, staff mentorship, and collaboration with the health care team. Requires care in invasive and non-invasive procedures, cardiac service procedures, and pulmonary diagnostic testing; strong communication, clinical assessment, and computer skills are essential. Night shift in Stockbridge, GA with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in the NICU.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Respiratory Therapy or Bachelors Respiratory Therapy-Preferred
- NBRC-RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP - Respiratory Care Professional
- BLS - Basic Life Support (or ARC-BLS)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (or ARC-ALS)
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (or ARC-PALS)
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (or ARC-NALS)
- 0-2 years clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
