Job Summary
Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Long Term Care responsible for delivering full-scope nursing care, administering medications safely, supervising and mentoring PSWs, assessing and planning care for residents with complex needs, documenting and updating care plans, performing therapies (including IV therapy and wound care), and collaborating with physicians and therapists to optimize resident well-being. Includes providing family education, participating in quality improvement huddles, and contributing to a supportive, resident-centered home environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) check completed within the past 6 months
- TB 2 Step updated within the last year
