Job Summary
Conduct total nursing care for residents, including assessing conditions, implementing physician orders, administering medications, and starting IVs. Supervise and direct LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs while initiating team conferences to develop individualized care plans. Coordinate nursing care for residents undergoing therapy or procedures and ensure equipment is maintained safely. Interview applicants, recommend hires, and participate in counseling or disciplinary actions as permitted by state practice acts. Maintain accurate documentation of observations, reactions, and treatments in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing
- Valid RN license in the state employed
- Valid CPR certification

- One year of nursing experience
