Job Summary
The RN provides individualized nursing care to residents in a not-for-profit senior-care setting, coordinating with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care. Responsibilities include using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation), delivering care across preventative, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment activities, coordinating care, resident education, and potentially serving as charge nurse with delegation to licensed or unlicensed personnel. Practices within the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules, supports care delivery through evaluation and documentation, and collaborates with providers and colleagues to ensure quality outcomes. May require varying shifts; a Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred and an unencumbered RN license (with multistate licensure if applicable) is required. Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
