Job Summary
RN/LPN Charge Nurse on 12-hour shifts. Supervises, coordinates, and directs the work of nursing assistants (CNAs); provides individualized nursing care according to each resident’s plan of care; assists in admissions, transfers, and discharges; administers prescribed medications and treatments; explains procedures to residents; observes vital signs and monitors progress; maintains residents’ medical records and care plans; monitors emotional well-being and prepares residents for continuing care after discharge; performs additional duties to deliver exceptional care to each resident.
Required Qualifications
- Active Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
