Job Summary
The Part-Time Registered Dietitian will assess the nutritional status of patients and plan approaches to improve their health as needed. The role involves providing guidance to Food and Nutrition Services staff and collaborating with medical and nursing staff. Candidates must have a sincere interest in foodservice and nutrition, particularly with senior care populations, possess knowledge of nutrition principles, and meet the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for registered dietitians.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for RDNs
- Thorough knowledge of nutrition principles
- Ability to assess nutritional status and plan care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in clinical nutrition
- Experience of an accredited Dietetic Internship or equivalent training
