Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for new admissions and quarterly reviews, developing and monitoring individualized nutrition care plans. Provide nutrition education, monitor resident weight weekly to track hydration status, and ensure compliance with CMS and DOH regulations. Collaborate with physicians and therapists, perform monthly kitchen sanitation audits, and approve menus semi-annually per USDA guidelines. Maintain appropriate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Work 3-8 hours weekly with 75% remote flexibility, earning $32-$38/hour. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration

- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement
- Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions
- Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
- Competency in electronic charting systems
