Job Summary
Conduct oral health assessments, screenings, and digital X-rays while reviewing and updating patient medical and dental histories. Identify and document conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontal disease, then educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor operatory supplies, and stay current on industry standards. Assist with additional duties as assigned in a supportive, locally owned private dental group environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio Dental Hygiene License
- Current CPR Certification
- Proficiency with digital X-rays
- Experience with dental software/EMR systems
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
