Job Summary
Monitor the campground property, patrol grounds, and inspect golf carts and rentals to ensure security and rule compliance. Validate incoming guest access, check people in and out, and handle reservations, day passes, and store sales. Respond to guest concerns, enforce local, state, and federal laws, and contact law enforcement when necessary. Perform routine patrols and take camping reservations while prioritizing guest safety and happiness. This role requires on-call emergency service and availability for weekends and holidays. Located in Palm Desert, California, this position supports Equity LifeStyle Properties' leading RV resort communities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Ability to use computer applications
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically
- Exceptional customer service and communications skills
- Friendly demeanor
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Current auto insurance
- Ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in security and/or law enforcement
- Experience working in an RV environment
