Job Summary
Load, unload, and sort freight, mail, and baggage safely while achieving on-time departures and arrivals. Cruise on the tarmac in company vehicles to deliver bags and work outdoors in all weather conditions. This entry-level position requires lifting bags up to 75 pounds and includes paid on-the-job training with no experience needed. Shifts vary and may include irregular hours, weekends, and holidays. Pay is CAD $20/hr with free travel for you and your family on the American Airlines global network.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
- 18 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
- Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver's license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must be eligible to travel to the United States for training.
