Job Summary
Load, unload, and sort freight, mail, and baggage safely while ensuring on-time departures and arrivals. Cruise on the tarmac in company vehicles to transport bags to their destinations, lifting luggage throughout your shift. Work in all weather conditions with irregular and/or extended hours, weekends, and holidays, including paid on-the-job training. This entry-level role offers free travel across the American Airlines global network for you and your family. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) program with company match after one year. Pay is $15.77/hr. Envoy Air provides regional flight service under the American Eagle brand and ground handling services for many American Airlines Group flights.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds
- Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver's license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship
