Job Summary
Performs radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist; operates imaging equipment; processes imaging media, troubleshoots and corrects problems; performs basic nursing care; performs departmental clerical duties; ensures patient rights are protected; participates in Performance Improvement; assists with orientation of new personnel and supervises students during clinical rotation; promotes a safe environment; works with EPIC electronic charting system; typical shift is 12 Hour Days in a hospital setting; position labeled Part-Time in title but listed as Full Time opportunity with FTE 0.90; requires NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) license or temporary license with ARRT certification preferred at hire and a plan to obtain ARRT certification within one year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree preferred
- NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) License or Temporary license required
- ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at time of hire
- Employee will have a period of 1 year to obtain ARRT certification
