Part-Time Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Summary
Inspect manufactured parts, tools, and components using blueprints, engineered drawings, sketches, and specifications to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances. Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and vision systems to determine the best inspection method for each part. Identify nonconforming items and document them through Nonconformance Reports while collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales teams to resolve quality concerns. Complete inspection documentation accurately and participate in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement efforts. This part-time role supports production flow without sacrificing quality, offering a temperature-controlled environment with paid lunch and benefits for eligible employees.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technology and systems
- Ability to understand and apply technical information
- Dependability and a strong commitment to workplace safety
