Part-Time Psychiatrist

Job Summary
Part-time Psychiatrist providing high-quality psychiatric services with a focus on trauma-informed, person-centered care. Responsibilities include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, management of psychotropic and parenteral medications, coordination of integrated care with PCPs, crisis intervention, cross-coverage for continuity of care, and specialized evaluations for external systems (e.g., judicial system, Social Security, County DSS). Requires medical degree (MD/DO), NYSED licensure, DEA registration, and minimum five years of mental health experience; board certification strongly preferred. Reports to Clinical Director or Medical Director.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completed residency in Child, Adolescent, or Adult Psychiatry
- Current, unrestricted NYSED licensure
- DEA registration
- Minimum of five years of experience in a mental health setting
- Board Certification in Child, Adolescent, Adult, or Addiction Psychiatry is strongly preferred
