Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups; collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests; enter patient information accurately; process billing information and collect payments as necessary; prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis; maintain patient and specimen information logs; provide superior customer service to patients; perform administrative and clerical duties; travel to additional sites when needed; work Monday–Friday 7:00am–1:00pm; role will be based at Rush Oak Brook (Oak Brook, IL) and may include work at Patient Service Centers or client offices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
