Job Summary
Mid-managerial Property Manager for tax-credit and HUD-affordable housing communities. Responsible for day-to-day operations and fiscal management, rent collection, delinquency reporting, lease administration from move-in to move-out, staff training and performance reviews, vendor and contract management, marketing to maximize occupancy, and ensuring cost-effective services while maintaining property assets. Requires hands-on experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC/COS/ARM preferred), proficiency with OneSite software, strong budgeting and KPI optimization, and excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three to five years of hands-on work experience in managing tax credits sites and processing affordable housing tenants
- Solid track record in affordable property management
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance, budget management, property marketing, and asset value preservation
- Proficiency in OneSite Property Management software
- COS, LIHTC, and ARM certification strongly preferred
- Ability to delegate, communicate effectively, motivate and follow-thru
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-resolution skills
- Ability to conduct staff training and performance reviews
- Experience with lease administration and move-in/move-out processes
- Experience negotiating with vendors and contractors for cost efficiency
- Knowledge of KPI goals related to occupancy, expenses, NOI
