Part-Time Property Manager

Job Summary
Oversee the financial and operational performance of a multifamily Tax Credit/HUD property by managing rents, occupancies, expenditures, and monthly budget projections. Supervise resident retention, leasing programs, and resident relations while ensuring compliance with company policy and federal regulations. Manage, train, and counsel onsite staff, assign leasing paperwork, and audit lease files to maintain maximum occupancy and proper documentation. Analyze performance data, complete annual asset business plans, and discuss strategies with the Regional Property Manager. Requires a flexible schedule including weekends, weekend availability, and the ability to tour the community with clients.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year experience in on-site property management, including leasing and bookkeeping knowledge with Class C/D communities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Exposure to property management software and accounting software
- Ability to review, understand and report financial information
- A comprehensive understanding of marketing techniques and budgeting
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs
- Fair Housing Certificate
- A valid drivers license
- A clean background check
