Part-time Project Lead

Lead and manage projects in a part-time role within a manufacturing plant, including initiating and completing projects with clear scope, deliverables, and timelines; coordinate resources, track progress, and document updates to plant leadership and stakeholders. Apply lean tools (5S, MDI, SOC, layered audits) and support Moonshot Initiatives to deliver measurable cost savings and operational improvements; drive Rapid Changeover Process (RCP) improvements to reduce downtime and standardize best practices. Use SQDC metrics to monitor performance and identify opportunities; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Training to align project goals with plant-wide initiatives; ensure alignment with GMP requirements and company standards. Develop project-related documentation, SOPs, and job aids; provide technical insights to frontline leaders and supervisors, and participate in team-building and improvement events to enhance engagement. Must meet essential qualifications including manufacturing experience and an associate degree preference, with strong communication, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills to support continuous improvement across shifts.
