Job Summary
Lead engaging, hands-on STEM/STEAM enrichment classes using Snapology's provided curriculum, LEGO® Bricks, robotics, and interactive learning tools for children ages 4–14. Create a positive, inclusive environment where kids build confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills through structured activities. Set up program materials before classes and clean up afterward to ensure each learning space is ready for the next group. Facilitate after-school programs at the Snapology center and local schools, adapting instruction to engage every child. Represent Snapology by building positive relationships with families and school partners while maintaining a safe, organized learning environment. Work four afternoons/evenings weekly between 4:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Earn additional hours through field trips, birthday parties, camps, and special events.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a group or structured setting
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to confidently lead activities after completing training
- Availability for four afternoons/evenings each week
- Reliable transportation to the Snapology center and local partner locations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to successfully complete federal, state, and child abuse background checks
- Dependable, organized, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
