Job Summary
Assist press and converting operators to keep production running smoothly by catching finished jobs, boxing, packaging, and staging product per work orders. Support folder and fan-folder machine operations including loading materials, removing finished product, and monitoring output. Perform make-ready duties, move jobs between press-side, converting, and shipping areas, and supply machines with materials from warehouse storage. Package, label, and prepare finished product for shipment while managing retains and ensuring proper documentation. Clean work areas and machines to maintain a safe environment. Read and follow work orders and verbal direction to execute tasks accurately. This temporary role offers flexible hours across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to read, follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers using units of American currency, weight measures, volume and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one and two step instructions
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to wear steel-toed shoes
- Must be able to wear required PPE
