Part Time Principal Faculty, Physician Assistant

Job Summary
Conduct course instruction and coordination for the Medical Anatomy and Physiology lecture and laboratory series, including oversight of cadaver-based dissection and on-campus labs. Evaluate student performance during OSCEs, lab practicals, and technical skills training while developing examinations aligned with ARC-PA accreditation standards. Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous quality improvement in accordance with accreditation standards. Assist with admissions, clinical site development, and remedial instruction as assigned. This role supports the Physician Assistant Program's student learning outcomes and competencies required for PA practice. The incumbent works 20 hours weekly with a teaching workload defined in the Faculty Supplement.
Required Qualifications
- Terminal degree in healthcare disciplines such as physician assistant, pharmacy, medical doctor, or public health
- Minimum of a Master's degree
- Eligibility for professional licensure/certification in the applicable state and healthcare discipline (if applicable) or holds an active, valid, and unencumbered state license
- 2 years of clinical experience
- PAs must have graduated from an accredited PA program and have current or emeritus NCCPA certification
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with student and staff populations
- Superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite, ExamSoft, and WebAdMIT
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years teaching experience in a graduate health-related profession
- Experience in PA/medical classroom teaching
