Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients, conduct interviews, document histories and medical problems, and perform physical examinations under physician direction. Diagnose medical issues, develop care plans, and prescribe treatment while managing a patient panel in an outpatient clinic setting. Assist with specialized procedures including cast application, wound suturing, and dressing changes. Requires minimum 2 years of primary care experience as an NP or PA, Georgia licensure, and BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Primary Care experience as an NP or PA
- Prior experience running independent clinic and managing your own patient panel
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia
- American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS certification (may be required in some areas)
